Member Spotlight Hwy 22 RV Park

This week’s Member Spotlight is on Hwy 22 RV Park, a business member at 1551 W. Main Street in Tishomingo. Annetta and Rick Kelley opened the Park in March 2014 with only 6 spaces available and have since added 8 spaces with full connection to include water, sewer, and 20/30/50 amp electric. Amenities include WIFI, a laundry facility, DirecTV, ADT Surveillance, picnic tables, gravel pads, and a shower/restroom facility. Hwy 22 is family and pet friendly, with oversize RV (42’ max) parking and tent camping offered upon availability.

Annetta and Rick own, operate, and maintain their property, sometimes allowing guests to help when convenient. They have lived in Johnston County for 26 years, residing for 16 of those years in the Coleman area, where they owned a t-shirt and sign business. They moved to Tishomingo and later purchased the property west of town where they currently live and raise their grandson, a junior at Tishomingo High School.

Hwy 22 RV Park is a supporter of many local groups and organizations including the Johnston County Chamber of Commerce, Johnston County school districts, and the Boy Scouts. Hwy 22 is also a great partner with area businesses by allowing them to send information to be included in their welcome packets for new guests. These educational portfolios on the area include brochures, flyers, and menus for businesses that make shopping local convenient for all guests.

Rates for stays start at $25/night, $125/week, $350/month, with reservations accepted and extended stays welcome. They make paying easy by accepting credit cards and PayPal transfers. Hwy 22 provides hospitality to anyone visiting the area, including travelers passing through, contractors here for work, and college students working to gain an education at MSC. Their business motto is, “Come as Strangers & Leave as Friends”! Have questions? Call 580-371-7447 or find them on Facebook at Hwy22RVPark.
