Member Spotlight CJ’s Dispensary
This week’s Member Spotlight is on CJ’s Dispensary, owned by Jeremy and Charllotte Pope! Medical marijuana is truly in its infancy in the state of Oklahoma, and within less than one year of its legalization by the residents of our great state, CJ’s Dispensary was founded. They opened their doors on May 1, 2019.
After serving in the military and as a state trooper, Jeremy decided to serve the people of his hometown in a different way – by providing honest service and medication for patients at an affordable cost. As a disabled veteran with a range of qualifying conditions for the issuance of a medical marijuana card, Jeremy can personally attest to the benefits. While most medical marijuana businesses have multiple investors with out-of-state cash flow focused solely on expanding portfolios and their portions of the profit, CJ’s is self-funded by its founders. Their intentions from the beginning and to this day have been to put the patron first and reinvest into the local economy.
At CJ’s, staff strive to provide customers with the highest quality products available at the lowest cost possible. As this industry is rapidly evolving, so is their product line. They currently dispense medical marijuana in multiple edible, concentrate, and traditional flower options. They offer a referral program, a store credit program with no cap or spending limit, and multiple discounts for all walks of life.
CJ’s Dispensary is proud to support local fundraising events that ultimately better the community and the lives of those who live in it. “An often-forgotten fact is, that unlike most businesses, we in the medical marijuana industry cannot claim deductions for charitable donations. Even though a stigma lurks around our industry, we are always glad to give back to our community regardless of recognition,” said Jeremy.
CJ’s is run by veterans, former educators, and former law enforcement personnel. “It’s our background in these multiple fields that ensure proper state compliance and quality of service.” CJ’s Dispensary is located at 1533 W. Main Street in Tishomingo and can be reached at 580-257-2167.
