Member Spotlight The Pennington Inn
This week’s Member Spotlight is on The Pennington Inn, which began with the idea of offering lodging in the heart of historic downtown Tishomingo. If you know anything about Tish, you know we severely lack lodging accommodations. The owners, Seth & Angelie Parish, wanted a business that brought people to stay in our town and would also bring traffic to other small businesses on Main Street and the surrounding area.
The building was constructed in the early 1900’s, and over the years has been the home to many different businesses, including: a furniture store, Stamp’s Dry Goods, Marty’s Boutique, and before becoming The Pennington it was The Leopard Vine Boutique.
Seth and Angelie grew up in the region and continue to be fully employed by other local businesses. They understand the challenges and opportunities of Tishomingo and are very conscious of supporting local. The Pennington was constructed by local contractors and most all of the decor was purchased locally. “The business and rooms are named after Tishomingo landmarks, which shows just how important this town and its history are to us,” said the Parish family. Room names include: The Refuge, The Blue, and Good Springs. “Our main goal is to help keep Tishomingo growing!”
The Pennington features three rooms with individual digital keypad locks with king beds and en suite baths. The facility offers warm beds, eclectic décor and easy access to dining, entertainment, and nightlife! Other amenities include: WIFI, a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, and a safe in each room.
Rooms can be booked over the phone by calling 580-387-9026 or via their website,
