Stadtler Center available for variety of local events
This week’s Member Spotlight is on The Stadtler Event Center, owned by Carrie and Troy Golden and named for Carrie’s grandpa, Phil Statdler, “a famous cattle trader and man of true integrity inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame”. This new venue is located on Main Street in Tishomingo, at 202 W. Main Street. The building, 2,500 square feet, is a wide-open space available for reunions, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, pop-up shop, business meetings or anything else you can think of!
There is a bathroom, kitchenette with a refrigerator, freezer, sink, ice machine and tables and chairs that are included with reservation of the space. The cost is $75 per hour with a two-hour minimum; full day (8 hours) Monday – Thursday is $300; and a full day, Friday – Sunday, is $400. There is a 30-minute grace period before and after the event for set-up and break down. A margarita machine and mixes as well as tablecloths are available for rent.
The space has a rustic feel that doesn’t require much decoration, as it was previously the location of Stepp West Boutique. So far, the venue has been used for parties and meetings with great ease. The Chamber of Commerce held its board of directors retreat there just a few weeks ago!
Small Business Saturday is November 28th and The Statdler, in cooperation with the JCCC, would like to host its first pop-up shop with vendors from the area. There is room for several 10×10 foot spaces for crafters, artisans and home-based businesses to be able to showcase their products for the kickoff of the holiday shopping season. This will not be an event for yard sale items. More details will be announced as we move into November.
Please remember The Stadtler for your next family gathering or company meeting and check them out on Facebook! For more information or to book the Center, call Carrie at 580-421-7400. The Goldens have made a great investment and created several lovely businesses in the area and we thank them for their commitment and excitement for new possibilities in Tishomingo and Johnston County!
Welcome to the Chamber, Walker Manufacturing! With two major events this month under our belt, we are excited to start really thinking about the holidays and ways to support businesses and make things fun for kids and adults to participate in shopping and community this season. If you have any ideas and would like to be a part of creating some fun campaigns and events, please reach out!
